My thesis film, UME: Or the Will to Fly Blind, received the Audience Award at the 47th Asian American International Film Festival and the NEXT STEP Award from NYU Tisch's Kanbar Institute of Film and Television. It has since screened at the thirteenth New York Japan CineFest and as part of the ASIAN? FEMALE? NOUVEAU FILM! program. The film was subsequently acquired for streaming distribution and is currently available on Sundance Now and AMC+.
